First, let me say that yes, I’m kind of stuck on podcasts right now. We have many good local bloggers that also do podcasts, so I’m trying to give you all a good idea of some entertaining things to help fill your earholes with. A while ago, I gave you The Suggestion Box Podcast, and now I’m giving you a podcast with a more specific scope: Traumatic Cinematic.
You see, despite having worked at a studio that worked on them, I am not a huge fan of horror films. I’m sorry, they’re just not my bag. Sure, I have fun watching some of the later Jason and Freddy flicks, but many of the current crop of horror films are just not my thing.
Enter the Traumatic Cinematic Podcast. They go all over the place, and it’s grand. Recorded by a group of film geeks, they look past the crop of polished, Hollywood torture porn and blockbusters to find “the rejects, the hated, and the god awful terrible.” They sell it, too. They are a pleasure to listen to, have a good rapport, and know their stuff.
